ROGERS, AR- The Providence Lady Patriots used a strong shooting night to capture the HCAA East Regional Title 77-23 over Mingo Valley of Tulsa , OK at the Whittaker Family Sports Arena on Monday. Olivia Phillips drained two three pointers to get the Patriot offense moving and Abigail Russell and Lydia Shaddox began going to work in the lane as Mingo Valley had to expand its defense to cover the perimeter. Providence raced to a 40-13 halftime lead. The Lady Patriots continued its hot shooting making 5-7 three pointers in the third period before finishing 11-22 on the night from deep. Elise Snow led the scoring for Providence with 19 points, followed by Lydia Shaddox with 14 and Hannah Wiechman with 13. Abigail Russell led the Lady Patriots with 8 rebounds. The Patriots defense held all conference and Mingo Valley leading scorer Lydia Houpe without a point on the evening. Adeline Reagel led MVCS with ten points.
